Updates!

Oh My Gosh! Who knew I would be more busy this summer then I was during the school year. I have two volunteer positions and a job. I guess this it what comes with growing up.
My Hamilton obsession is finally showing itself here... I'm sorry.

I've been writing a lot more. For some reason I've been having this really bad writing slump and it sucks! I've been trying to force myself to write but I just haven't been in the mood. I have ideas (Oh do I have ideas) but lately it's like I have to drag myself to write anything. In the last couple of days though I've gotten a few thousand words down. Which is amazing but it leaves me with less time to read :'(

I also went to summer camp. I was really nervous about going but it was a lot of fun. I made new friends and got closer to a couple girls. But there was no phones allowed and in all honesty I was way to busy to pick up the book I smuggled into my suitcase.

Lets just say that not a whole lot of books have been read at my house lately. I did however finish Truthwitch by Susan Dennard (OMG it's so good) so I'm hoping to get a review for that book out soon.

Right now I'm re-reading The Tigers Curse series by Colleen Houck. I might get to meet her next month so I'm super excited. It's kinda weird though because as much as I like her books I have no post yet on The Tigers Curse. Maybe that will be one of the next posts I do.

And if I'm being honest my writing slump has also affected how often I post here. I would love to do a post every week (that's my brand new plan starting today) but I just keep putting it off. Well no longer! From now on I will be doing a post every week. Even if I have to post about a book I read weeks ago or write a short story. I will try my hardest to make this happen.

Lastly: Does anyone have any book suggestions? I'm running out of things that I really want to read.

Sorry for the short (and probably boring) post. Next week I will defiantly have a book review for you guys.

  1. I love Truthwitch too! If you haven't read Susan's first series yet, I definitely recommend that. As for other book recommendations, one of my favorite books is Code Name Verity!
